Upon graduating from Marquette University, he worked for eight years at MGIC Investment Corporation in Milwaukee, and 11 years at Thrivent Financial in Appleton. Since July of 2007, he had been an independent financial advisor.
Away from the office, Cary enjoys being with his wife Erin and their four children.
